What we’re looking for:
- Valid School Psychologist credential/license
- Previous experience or strong knowledge working with elementary-aged students
- Proven ability to deliver direct and consultative psychological services in an educational setting
- Comfortable administering psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and related service professionals
- Strong organizational, communication, and report-writing skills
- Understanding of SDC (Special Day Class) models and experience supporting students with moderate support needs preferred
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for referred students
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development and monitoring of student goals
- Providing counseling and behavioral interventions when needed
- Collaborating with educators to design and implement strategies supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Serving as an advocate for students’ educational rights and well-being
- Assisting with crisis intervention and behavior support planning as necessary
