Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Valid, current School Psychologist certification (California PPS Credential)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students' learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral supports as needed
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Lead or assist with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of reports and compliance paperwork
- Support initiatives that promote positive school climate, mental health, and student well-being
