Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ needs and eligibility for services
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support to students
- Collaborate in the development and implementation of IEPs and intervention plans
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding psychological assessments and interventions
- Support the creation of a safe, inclusive learning environment
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with district and legal standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and workshops
