Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Valid, current School Psychologist certification (California PPS Credential)
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify students' learning and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral supports as needed
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
  • Lead or assist with functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of reports and compliance paperwork
  • Support initiatives that promote positive school climate, mental health, and student well-being
