What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and developing academic interventions
- Strong skills in counseling, consultation, and collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and written/oral communication skills
- Understanding of IEP processes, special education law, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Compassionate, culturally responsive approach to student support
Your Impactful Contributions:
- Assess students using standardized and informal tools to determine eligibility for special services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement individual education and intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling and skill-building services to students
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Serve as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams for IEP and eligibility meetings
- Contribute to positive school climate by offering crisis intervention, staff consultations, and teacher trainings
