School Psychologist - Elk Grove Village, Illinois

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
• Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify learning, behavioral, or emotional needs of students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to design individualized interventions and educational plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with special education laws
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
• Deliver training sessions for faculty on social-emotional development or behavioral strategies
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of services and evaluations
