Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral, emotional, and learning differences in children and adolescents
- Excellent communication skills to interact with students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to administer and interpret psychological assessments
- Collaborative mindset and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource to educators, administrators, and parents to support student learning and behavior
- Provide counseling or intervention services as needed for students
- Participate in student support teams, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary evaluations
- Maintain confidential and accurate records in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development
