Key qualifications and experience:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience in student assessments, counseling, and report writing
  • Strong understanding of psychological principles, intervention strategies, and special education law
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Providing short-term counseling for students, as appropriate
  • Assisting in crisis prevention and management within the school community
  • Maintaining documentation and records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
