Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education guidelines
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working across diverse student populations and age ranges
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in eligibility determinations for special education services
- Develop, monitor, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed
- Consult with educators and families to implement effective strategies for student success
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on student development and mental health concerns
