Make a meaningful impact supporting students across varied educational environments in this full-time, contract role for a school psychologist. The position involves working with elementary, high school, and non-public school settings, offering a unique opportunity to provide psychological and counseling services to a diverse student population. Hours for this role are 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, ensuring a predictable schedule with evenings free.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must be licensed or willing to complete the process for Minnesota’s school psychologist certification.
  • Experience providing psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation services in school settings.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, families, and outside agencies.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work confidently with a wide age range of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments.
  • Assist in development, implementation, and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide direct support and interventions to students both individually and in small groups.
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding academic, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
  • Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold ethical and legal standards.

Interview Availability: Interviews will be held on Tuesday, June 16 (all day), and Wednesday, June 17, with appointments available from 8:00-10:30 AM or after 12:00 PM.
