School Psychologist in Elkhart, IN

Step into a rewarding contract position serving the dynamic educational community near Elkhart, IN. This full-time opportunity calls for a dedicated professional to provide crucial psychological services to elementary and middle school students from ASAP through December 18th, covering a maternity leave.

You will work a steady weekday schedule, approximately 7:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., supporting an estimated 15-20 students across multiple school sites. Enjoy collaboration as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes speech-language pathologists, diagnosticians, and other specialists, each with dedicated office space in the buildings you’ll visit. Under the guidance of a supportive supervisor, you’ll focus on student evaluations, participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and contribute to MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) discussions, all without requirements for direct counseling or behavioral intervention.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana School Psychologist license
• Experience with student evaluations and IEP development
• Familiarity with MTSS processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfort working with both elementary and middle school populations
• Ability to thrive within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team setting
