A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in Elkhorn, NE. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to enhance student well-being and academic success in a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student learning needs and challenges
- Develop and implement intervention strategies and behavior support plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as necessary
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and legal standards
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing and assessment tools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
