This contract position begins August 10, 2026, and will continue through May 25, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours each week (Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM). Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within a school setting
- Strong background in conducting cognitive and academic assessments using current tools (familiarity with Q-Interactive preferred)
- Knowledge of behavioral assessment tools and experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)
- Understanding of the Student Support Team (SST) process
- Excellent communication, organizational, and report-writing skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cognitive and academic testing for a diverse student population
- Complete initial Functional Behavioral Assessments as needed
- Collaborate with educational staff to support intervention planning and student success
- Participate actively in SST meetings and integrate recommendations into student plans
- Maintain detailed documentation and manage reports efficiently, utilizing both in-person and remote work opportunities
- Provide consultative support to teachers and families regarding assessment results and suggested interventions
