Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, 504 plans, and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and individual student evaluations
  • Participate in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and contribute to 504 meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Provide direct and consultative services for students, including counseling and behavioral interventions
  • Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of school psychology
