Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, 504 plans, and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and individual student evaluations
- Participate in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and contribute to 504 meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Provide direct and consultative services for students, including counseling and behavioral interventions
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of school psychology
