This contract position, located near Ellicott City, offers the chance to work closely with a dynamic team of educators and professionals while helping young learners achieve their greatest potential.

There are three openings available for motivated professionals seeking full-time (33.75 hours per week) roles, with openness to part-time availability (3-4 days per week). Work onsite during standard school hours, Monday through Friday from 7:25am to 2:40pm, ensuring work-life balance while maintaining a predictable schedule.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current Maryland certification as a School Psychologist required
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations
  • Strong knowledge of child development, behavioral interventions, and evidence-based practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with middle school populations preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to help identify students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention plans
  • Support Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and participate in related meetings
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Serve as an onsite resource for students, families, and staff, fostering a positive school climate
