Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a dedicated school psychologist. In this full-time role, you’ll work 37.5 hours per week (7:45 am – 3:15 pm), engaging directly with a manageable caseload of 10 students at the elementary level. As a vital part of the educational team, your expertise will make a lasting impact through conducting assessments and providing targeted counseling services onsite.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Current licensure or certification as a school psychologist, meeting requirements for work in educational settings
- Experience providing services in elementary school environments preferred
- Strong background in psychoeducational and social-emotional assessments
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to work onsite during scheduled hours; this opportunity does not offer hybrid or remote arrangements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and analyze results to support student development
- Deliver counseling to students on your caseload, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) and offer ongoing progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation of all services provided
