As a key member of the team, you’ll be responsible for a manageable caseload of approximately 10 elementary students, allowing you to focus deeply on their individual needs. Your expertise in school psychology and working with elementary-age children will be invaluable as you conduct thorough assessments, develop intervention strategies, and offer targeted counseling services. This position does not allow for hybrid or virtual work; all services are provided in person, fostering deeper connections with students and staff.
Requirements and Desired Experience:
- Valid school psychologist certification and credentials required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to working onsite throughout the school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Provide individual and group counseling tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design effective support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines
