Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychological assessments, counseling, and behavior intervention plans
- Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Prior school-based experience preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet their unique needs
- Advocate for students’ well-being and contribute to a positive school climate
- Offer consultation to staff and parents regarding learning and behavioral concerns
