Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience with psychological assessments, IEP meetings, and counseling services within a school setting
- Understanding of MTSS/RTI and functional behavior assessments
- Excellent communication, organizational, and advocacy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and administrators
- Adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of students and schools
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations, interpreting results for parents and staff
- Develop and support implementation of IEPs, behavior intervention plans, and 504 plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer expert recommendations
- Engage in crisis intervention and provide consultation for complex student needs
- Maintain progressive data collection and accurate documentation
- Deliver staff training and parent education to maximize student support
