School Psychologist - Elyria, Ohio

Make an impact over the full academic year as a dedicated School Psychologist supporting students’ growth and achievement. This contract opportunity offers a flexible hybrid schedule and plenty of variety, working closely with educational professionals to help students thrive.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
• Valid Ohio School Psychologist credential/license
• Experience in assessment, intervention, and counseling within school settings
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Familiarity with IEP development, MTSS/RTI processes, and supporting diverse student populations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and provide detailed written reports
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise for student success
• Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
• Consult with staff and families regarding strategies to address behavioral, social, or learning needs
• Support IEP and 504 plan development, progress monitoring, and data collection
• Deliver counseling or direct services as needed for students with emotional or behavioral challenges
• Champion crisis intervention and prevention programming
• Engage in ongoing professional development

Role Details & Perks:

• Full-time contract throughout the school year
• Flexible hybrid schedule: options for five half days, two full days with one half day, and one remote day per week
• Competitive pay ranging from $45 to $55 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
