School Psychologist - Englewood, Colorado

Seeking two experienced school psychologists for a full-time contract role serving schools in the Denver area. Assignments are available at a range of grade levels from early childhood through high school. Candidates may be placed in one of several locations and will work closely with special education students, district teams, and families to provide direct mental health and assessment services. This is an onsite position running ASAP through May 26, 2027.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of three years’ prior experience in a school setting required
• Master’s degree, Specialist’s degree, or Doctorate in School Psychology
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider License in School Psychology
• Strong skills in student assessment and written and verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with technology and electronic documentation
• Must complete background check and district fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver group and individual counseling aligned with IEP mental health goals
• Develop and implement effective interventions at the individual, group, and system levels
• Provide mental health support within general education and special education settings
• Complete cognitive, social, behavioral, and adaptive assessments; write and interpret evaluation reports
• Collect data, develop Functional Behavioral Assessments, and author Behavioral Intervention Plans
• Conduct suicide and threat assessments; help develop safety and crisis response plans
• Collaborate with families, teachers, administrators, and outside agencies
• Attend IEP meetings, MTSS team meetings, professional development, and staff meetings
• Support staff and families through psychoeducation and resource coordination
