School Psychologist in Englewood, CO

Take on a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students’ mental and behavioral health as a School Psychologist in a dynamic Denver-area educational setting. This position provides leave coverage for various campuses and grade levels, with assignments and weekly hours tailored to coverage periods and district needs.

You’ll deliver vital direct services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families to promote academic and social-emotional success for special and general education populations. Assignments may include serving middle or elementary school students, either full-time or part-time, as dictated by district leave needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider License: School Psychology
• Previous experience working in a school setting
• Strong assessment, report-writing, and behavioral intervention skills
• Proficiency with crisis and risk assessment, counseling, and case management
• Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities
• Comfortable working across diverse backgrounds and adapting to changing school environments
• Technologically adept, able to complete documentation and use virtual platforms as needed
• Prepared for background screening and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver group and individual counseling per IEP/504 mental health goals
• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and write corresponding reports
• Develop and monitor behavioral intervention plans and progress-monitoring tools
• Participate actively in IEP, MTSS, and team meetings
• Provide crisis intervention, suicide and threat assessments, and related safety supports
• Consult with staff, families, and community partners to coordinate holistic student support
• Engage in professional development and share psychoeducation with staff and families
