School Psychologist in Englewood, CO

A fulfilling contract opportunity awaits a dedicated professional to deliver mental health support in an educational setting. This position centers on serving Meridian Academy, a specialized program supporting students in grades 6-12 with significant behavioral and social/emotional challenges. You’ll play a pivotal role in providing both direct support and collaborating with a committed team to foster students’ growth and success.

Your expertise as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker will be key to guiding students toward their goals. In this role you’ll:

Qualifications:

• Current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider (SSP) License with endorsement as either a School Psychologist or School Social Worker
• Prior experience supporting students with severe behavioral and social/emotional needs, especially in facility placements or intensive treatment settings
• Background working with middle and high school age groups
• Ability to begin promptly and complete all required background and fingerprinting processes

Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted mental health services to students with complex IEP needs, currently serving 23–30 students
• Partner closely with school staff to address the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of each student
• Conduct IEP-related duties, including student evaluations, participating in meetings, and developing IEPs tailored to each learner
• Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral success

This on-site contract runs ASAP through May 27, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week at Meridian Academy near Englewood, CO. The environment is supportive, with a small caseload and an interdisciplinary approach.
