Preferred Qualifications:
- Current and valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students across K-12 (grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12)
- Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
- Proficiency in collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Compassion and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education and behavior plans
- Familiarity with relevant laws and ethical standards in school psychology
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Deliver individual and group counseling sessions for students with academic, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop interventions and accommodations
- Participate in special education meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and 504 Plans
- Serve as a resource for crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention
- Monitor student progress and advocate for their needs within the school setting
- Communicate findings and recommendations with families and stakeholders in a clear, supportive manner
