Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current and valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with students across K-12 (grades K–5, 6–8, and 9–12)
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
  • Proficiency in collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Compassion and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education and behavior plans
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and ethical standards in school psychology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions for students with academic, emotional, or behavioral concerns
  • Consult with teachers and staff to develop interventions and accommodations
  • Participate in special education meetings and contribute to the development of IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Serve as a resource for crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention
  • Monitor student progress and advocate for their needs within the school setting
  • Communicate findings and recommendations with families and stakeholders in a clear, supportive manner
