Make a positive difference in elementary education by supporting students’ emotional and behavioral growth in a contract role for the upcoming school year. This onsite position will allow you to apply your expertise as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker, focusing on developing behavior plans and collaborating closely with staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

Role Highlights:

  • Full-time, onsite contract: 35 hours/week from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027
  • Work with elementary students across two school sites, supporting a diverse student population
  • Provide comprehensive behavioral and psychological support in both evaluation and intervention
  • Play a vital part in pre-referral processes, direct student services, and teamwork with educators

Key Qualifications:

  • Licensure and credentials as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker (state requirements must be met)
  • Strong background in developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Proven experience collaborating with educational staff to address challenging behaviors across different settings
  • Skillful in conducting both pre-referral and formal assessments, with an emphasis on elementary-age children
  • Experience in an educational setting preferred; comfort with multitasking across multiple school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and monitor behavior support plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Consult and train teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff in effective behavior management strategies
  • Conduct pre-referral observations, assessments, and evaluations
  • Provide recommendations and action plans to facilitate student success and promote positive school climate
  • Maintain clear documentation and participate in team meetings supporting each student’s educational development
