Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Valid Ohio School Psychologist certification preferred
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students, especially in diverse educational settings
  • Ability to adapt to varying environments and to respond thoughtfully to different student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for engaging with students, staff, and families
  • Comfort navigating both STEM-focused and vocational learning settings
  • Openness to working with a smaller special education caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized plans to support student success
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions
  • Serve as an advocate for students’ mental health and learning needs, providing consultation and guidance
  • Deliver direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed, fostering a positive and supportive school climate
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all ethical, legal, and procedural guidelines
