Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with adolescents in educational settings
  • Strong understanding of the IEP process, including evaluation and goal-setting
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Adaptability to move between locations within the same district

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments as part of student evaluations
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings to inform team decisions and support individualized educational planning
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective strategies for student success
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Help develop interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with legal and district requirements
