Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with adolescents in educational settings
- Strong understanding of the IEP process, including evaluation and goal-setting
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptability to move between locations within the same district
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments as part of student evaluations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to inform team decisions and support individualized educational planning
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective strategies for student success
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Help develop interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with legal and district requirements
