Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in the state of Oregon
- Certification appropriate for service in public school settings
- Experience working with K-12 students across elementary, middle, and high school
- Proficiency in conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable adapting services to diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for students in elementary, middle, and high school
- Assess students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs to determine eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams—including teachers, administrators, and families—to develop strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide written reports and participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings
- Offer consultation and support to educators regarding student behavior and classroom management
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation following state and federal regulations
- Serve as a resource for crisis intervention, prevention programs, and mental health referrals as needed
