Make an impact supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Evans, CO. Multiple contract opportunities are available for the upcoming academic year, with one remote (VOCO) and one onsite or hybrid position—ideal for both local and remote professionals. You'll have the opportunity to meaningfully engage with students and collaborate with school staff over the course of the school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Colorado School Psychologist License with Colorado Department of Education credentials required
- Experience conducting student assessments, particularly re-evaluations
- Strong understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting (for VOCO position) or providing in-person student services (for onsite/hybrid role)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and re-evaluations (caseload varies by position: approx. 45-70 per year)
- Provide direct services to students, including counseling, consultation, and intervention planning (onsite/hybrid)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ unique needs
- Prepare comprehensive reports and participate in IEP meetings
- Utilize best practices in service delivery, documentation, and compliance
- Support at least two schools, ensuring timely assessment and follow-up
