This in-person contract position allows you to work collaboratively with educators, students, and families to support the academic, emotional, and social well-being of a caseload of 60 scholars. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology (required)
  • Active State/District Licensure/Certificate (IL PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement)
  • Minimum of two years of school-based experience
  • Demonstrated commitment to educational core values and student-centered approaches
  • Persistent mindset toward supporting the holistic success of each child

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, prevention, identification, and support for students’ academic and social-emotional needs
  • Function as an integral member of school-based teams (SPED, 504, MTSS), ensuring compliance and implementation of individual support plans
  • Lead interventions, progress monitoring, and consultation within MTSS frameworks, especially for Tier 3 students
  • Prepare thorough documentation, maintain confidentiality, and facilitate communication with families, staff, and external agencies as necessary
  • Stay updated on best practices, sharing insights with colleagues and presenting professional development when needed
  • Maintain accurate records of all interventions, progress, and collaborative activities according to required guidelines
  • Consistently participate in professional meetings, acting as both an advocate and expert regarding child development and learning disorders
