Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid WA state certification (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience conducting educational evaluations and assessments
  • Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate interventions
  • Background in working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
  • Clear communication skills to work with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment for diverse learners

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Carry a manageable elementary caseload focused primarily on evaluations
  • Perform psychoeducational assessments to support special education eligibility
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to IEP development and support intervention planning
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and records in compliance with policies
  • Participate in student support meetings and consult on behavioral strategies as needed
