Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid WA state certification (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience conducting educational evaluations and assessments
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate interventions
- Background in working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Clear communication skills to work with students, staff, and families
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive environment for diverse learners
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Carry a manageable elementary caseload focused primarily on evaluations
- Perform psychoeducational assessments to support special education eligibility
- Provide actionable recommendations based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to IEP development and support intervention planning
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and records in compliance with policies
- Participate in student support meetings and consult on behavioral strategies as needed
