As a contract-based School Psychologist, you will work collaboratively with a dedicated team of educators, helping to ensure every student receives the support needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active Washington state licensure or the ability to obtain it promptly
- Prior experience in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams and diverse student populations
- Familiarity with IEP and 504 processes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify student needs and eligibility for special education services
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative support to students and staff
- Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote positive educational outcomes
- Assist with behavioral intervention planning and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation in a timely manner
- Provide recommendations for appropriate educational strategies and accommodations
