School Psychologist in Fairburn, GA

Ideal Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid school psychologist certification or licensure (state requirements must be met)
• Strong background in educational, cognitive, and behavioral assessments
• Experience performing assessments, testing, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) evaluations
• Expertise in interpreting data, writing reports, and making educational recommendations
• Familiarity with IEP processes, special education laws, and best practices in school-based psychological services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
• Support MTSS teams through data collection, interpretation, and recommendations
• Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective interventions
• Assist with eligibility determinations and contribute to IEP recommendations
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines
