Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
- Experience in administering and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
- Knowledge of Special Education law and the IEP process
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
- Offer consultation and guidance to teachers, parents, and staff regarding academic and behavioral supports
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RtI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) initiatives
- Support positive school climate by implementing evidence-based practices
