Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
  • Experience in administering and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
  • Knowledge of Special Education law and the IEP process
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention to students as needed
  • Offer consultation and guidance to teachers, parents, and staff regarding academic and behavioral supports
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RtI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) initiatives
  • Support positive school climate by implementing evidence-based practices
