Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Current valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and evaluations in school settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
  • Understanding of special education processes and eligibility requirements
  • Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services for students
  • Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management as needed
  • Participate in student support and planning meetings
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of evaluations and services
  • Facilitate professional development on relevant topics for school staff
