Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Current valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and evaluations in school settings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
- Understanding of special education processes and eligibility requirements
- Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services for students
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management as needed
- Participate in student support and planning meetings
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of evaluations and services
- Facilitate professional development on relevant topics for school staff
