Qualifications & Preferred Background:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience in educational settings, preferably providing psychological services to diverse student populations
  • Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support, behavioral assessments, and IEP development
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with staff, families, and students
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records in accordance with policies and ethical guidelines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for students as part of the special education process
  • Design and implement effective intervention strategies and behavior plans
  • Support teams in developing and monitoring IEP goals and accommodations
  • Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
  • Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to address academic and behavioral concerns
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives to foster a positive learning environment
