School Psychologist in Fairfield, OH

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a School Psychologist providing leave coverage for two middle schools. This position begins the last week of January and concludes at the end of the 2026–2027 academic year, offering a dynamic and rewarding experience supporting students in an educational setting.

In this role, you’ll work full time, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM. The assignment starts with coverage at a middle school near Fairfield, OH, from the end of January until approximately March 29th, then transitions to a second middle school through May 28th. Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist licensure or certification
• Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of psychological testing, assessment, and intervention strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Enthusiasm for working with middle school populations

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess and address students’ academic, emotional, and social needs
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and intervention plans
• Support crisis management and prevention efforts
• Consult with teachers and parents to facilitate student success
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation
