Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a dedicated School Psychologist supporting grades 6–12 in the surrounding areas near Fairport, NY, and Scottsville, NY. This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 26, with the first student day on September 2 and concluding June 24. You’ll play a key role within a multidisciplinary educational team to help students reach their fullest potential.
What you’ll bring:
- Active New York State School Psychologist Certification
- Master’s Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Relevant experience working with middle and high school students preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, testing, and diagnostic examinations to support individualized education plans
- Deliver therapeutic support and counseling for students in grades 6–12
- Participate in and contribute to PPT meetings, collaborating closely with educators, families, and other support professionals
- Provide targeted interventions and recommendations to promote student well-being and academic success
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation in accordance with school district and state requirements
- Stay current with best practices in school psychology and adolescent development
