This contract role is set for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning with orientation in late August and running through June 24. The position offers the chance to work with a variety of age groups, delivering comprehensive psychological services within an educational setting.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology
  • NYS Certification as a School Psychologist (required)
  • Strong foundation in childhood development and diagnostic assessment
  • Expertise in interpreting assessment results and reporting findings
  • Thorough knowledge of learning processes and evidence-based instructional interventions
  • Familiarity with RTI (Response to Intervention) and MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), including implementation and evaluation of effectiveness

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students K-12
  • Collaborate on the development and monitoring of individualized learning and behavioral plans
  • Advise school staff and families on effective instructional and behavioral strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute insight to support student achievement
  • Track and assess effectiveness of interventions using RTI and MTSS frameworks
