In this full-time contract opportunity, your work will focus primarily on grades P-4, offering support to four different sites. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students in preschool through middle grades (P-8), with an emphasis on early childhood/elementary levels
- Knowledge of psychological assessment procedures, behavior management, and intervention strategies appropriate for a school setting
- Familiarity with case management of 40-50 students and delivering counseling to groups of 2-8
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork with staff, students, and families
- Adaptability to work across multiple buildings in a district
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school climate
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations, assessments, and consultation services for students across four district locations, focusing primarily on preschool through 4th grade
- Manage a caseload of 40-50 students, ensuring individualized plans and ongoing support are effectively delivered
- Offer direct counseling to small groups (2-8 students) addressing emotional, social, or behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other stakeholders to develop intervention strategies and educational plans
- Maintain detailed records and case notes for all students under your care
- Attend team meetings and engage in multidisciplinary discussions regarding student progress
