Step into a dynamic educational environment as a School Psychologist supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. This contract opportunity is available immediately, with a preferred start date of July 31st, and offers the flexibility to work full-time or part-time. Hybrid work arrangements are possible, allowing you to balance on-site engagement with remote responsibilities.

The role serves approximately 105 students in Exceptional Children programs, collaborating closely with educators and families to foster positive academic and social outcomes. You’ll utilize your expertise in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and student assessment to contribute to an inclusive and effective learning environment.

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with K-12 populations, especially in Exceptional Children (EC) settings
  • Familiarity with MTSS frameworks, conducting assessments, and creating interventions
  • Skilled in navigating referral processes, participating in IEP meetings, and supporting individualized student plans
  • Capable of conducting classroom observations and delivering consultative support to teachers and staff
  • Strong communication and documentation skills

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments as part of the eligibility process
  • Participate in MTSS teams to design and implement academic and behavioral interventions
  • Collaborate with school teams and families through referrals, IEP meetings, and ongoing consultations
  • Observe students in classroom settings to recommend strategies and support plans
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture by advocating for students' academic, emotional, and social growth
