Key Qualifications:
- Hold current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Previous experience with elementary school-aged children (K-5) preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with teachers, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social/emotional functioning.
- Interpret assessment results and develop recommendations for educational programming.
- Provide direct counseling services and consult with teachers to support student learning and well-being.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, writing relevant reports and goals.
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions for students experiencing academic or behavioral challenges.
- Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and collaborate on crisis intervention as needed.
