What you’ll bring:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related area
- Current certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
- Knowledge of special education procedures, psycho-educational assessments, and report writing
- Experience supporting students across diverse backgrounds and needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with students, staff, and families
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering psycho-educational assessments for students on a caseload of 5
- Interpreting evaluation results and making recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consulting with teachers, families, and administrators to help meet student needs
- Providing counseling, crisis intervention, or behavioral support as needed
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with all relevant regulations
- Attending team meetings and contributing insights to support student success
- Managing a schedule of approximately 35 hours per week in collaboration with school staff
