Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of student assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Strong communication skills for working with diverse students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseloads, meet deadlines, and contribute to teams
- Comfortable with technology and remote professional practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student needs
- Participate actively in IEP/504 meetings and help develop appropriate plans
- Provide direct counseling, intervention, and crisis support services to students
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student progress
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in line with school and state guidelines
- Help foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all learners
- Support preventative program initiatives addressing academic and social-emotional development
