Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification)
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, evaluation processes, and intervention planning
- Excellent communication, consultation, and organizational abilities
- Capacity to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for students referred for services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding behavioral, social-emotional, and learning needs
- Deliver crisis intervention and support services as needed
- Provide recommendations and interventions to support students’ academic and emotional growth
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional and ethical standards
