Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Current and valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification)
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, evaluation processes, and intervention planning
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and organizational abilities
  • Capacity to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results for students referred for services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding behavioral, social-emotional, and learning needs
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support services as needed
  • Provide recommendations and interventions to support students’ academic and emotional growth
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional and ethical standards
