Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments (initial evaluations, re-evaluations, etc.)
- Strong understanding of child development, learning differences, and behavioral interventions
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 assessments
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Comfort working with students ranging from early elementary to middle school
- Commitment to providing culturally responsive support
Responsibilities:
- Lead psychoeducational evaluations, including initial and re-evaluations, according to state and district standards
- Write clear, actionable assessment reports
- Consult with educators to design, implement, and monitor individualized plans and interventions
- Participate in eligibility meetings, contributing expertise to educational teams
- Provide guidance and resources for staff and parents to support student well-being
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation related to assessments and interventions
- Travel between the two assigned campuses as needed
