Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active school psychologist licensure or eligibility in Indiana
  • Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Strong knowledge of special education policies and procedures (IDEA and Section 504)
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
  • Previous background in a school setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform academic, behavioral, and psychological evaluations of students
  • Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to guide interventions
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Deliver consultation services to teachers, support staff, and parents
  • Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
  • Assist in the development of behavioral and academic interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
