Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (Indiana or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Experience in conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Solid foundation in behavioral intervention and data-driven decision making
- Effective communicator, capable of working well with students, teachers, and parents
- Familiarity with legal and ethical guidelines regarding school psychology services
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to evaluate student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide counseling and interventions for students facing behavioral or emotional challenges
- Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to design strategies that support student success
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) frameworks
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with all guidelines
- Participate in professional development to remain current on best practices
