School Psychologist - Flat Rock, Michigan

Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan School Psychologist license – please confirm your credential via the Michigan Department of Education’s public search resource
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist strongly preferred
• Knowledge and application of school-based assessments, behavioral interventions, and special education processes
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Must be available for onsite work only

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct psychological services to K-12 students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation
• Administer, score, and interpret a wide variety of cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments
• Participate in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate student needs and create intervention strategies
• Offer crisis intervention support and promote positive school climate
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policy
