Desired Qualifications:
- MI School Psychologist Certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification required
- Official university transcripts (must be provided prior to placement)
- Previous school psychology or agency experience preferred
- Comfort and interest in serving urban student populations
- Understanding of MARSE/IDEA special education regulations (see supplemental guidelines)
- Willingness to work onsite (no remote/VOCO options)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments for K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Collaborate on early intervention processes and support system planning
- Communicate assessment findings and recommendations to families and educators
- Participate in professional development, policy implementation, and multidisciplinary teamwork
- Uphold consistent special education policies across multiple school buildings
