Desired Qualifications:

  • MI School Psychologist Certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification required
  • Official university transcripts (must be provided prior to placement)
  • Previous school psychology or agency experience preferred
  • Comfort and interest in serving urban student populations
  • Understanding of MARSE/IDEA special education regulations (see supplemental guidelines)
  • Willingness to work onsite (no remote/VOCO options)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments for K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Collaborate on early intervention processes and support system planning
  • Communicate assessment findings and recommendations to families and educators
  • Participate in professional development, policy implementation, and multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Uphold consistent special education policies across multiple school buildings
