Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, facilitating individual and group counseling, and developing intervention strategies
- Strong communication skills for consulting with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Ability to analyze data, develop IEPs, and document services in compliance with local/state/federal requirements
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning through formal and informal assessments
- Collaborate with school teams to design and implement intervention and support plans
- Deliver direct counseling to students and facilitate group interventions as needed
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and crisis response meetings
- Serve as a resource for staff and families on issues related to learning, behavior, and mental health
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting on all cases
