Key Qualifications:
- Valid Missouri Department of Education (DOE) certification in School Psychology
- Previous experience with special education evaluations, Child Find processes, and K-12 populations
- Ability to balance a caseload averaging 8-10 cases at any time, completing approximately 32 evaluations annually
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Willingness to adhere to time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting (TCN required) and technology compliance forms
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct special education assessments and participate in referral meetings
- Support Child Find initiatives to identify and evaluate student needs
- Prepare detailed psychoeducational reports and recommendations
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention plans
- Provide expertise on eligibility for special education services and assist with IEP development
- Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
