School Psychologist in Florissant, MO

This contract position calls for a certified School Psychologist to step into a vital role—primarily serving K-12 students across two campuses in the greater St. Louis and Jennings areas. You'll focus on special education evaluations, Child Find initiatives, and play a central part in supporting students' academic and emotional needs.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Active certification from the Missouri Department of Education is required
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist within K-12 settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with special education assessment processes and writing comprehensive evaluation reports
• Current fingerprinting or the ability to complete required district protocols promptly (TCN number will need to be submitted)
• Comfortable supporting multiple campuses and adjusting to district-specific requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, staff, and families

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver thorough psychoeducational assessments as part of the special education evaluation process
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational outcomes
• Manage a caseload averaging 8-10 evaluations at any given time, with approximately 32 completed cases over the school year
• Assist in identification through Child Find procedures and participation in eligibility team meetings
• Maintain accurate records, adhere to district compliance requirements, and ensure privacy protocols are met
• Sign required technology policy forms and complete onboarding documentation efficiently
