Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Missouri Department of Education (DOE) certification in School Psychology
  • Previous experience with special education evaluations, Child Find processes, and K-12 populations
  • Ability to balance a caseload averaging 8-10 cases at any time, completing approximately 32 evaluations annually
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Willingness to adhere to time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting (TCN required) and technology compliance forms

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct special education assessments and participate in referral meetings
  • Support Child Find initiatives to identify and evaluate student needs
  • Prepare detailed psychoeducational reports and recommendations
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop intervention plans
  • Provide expertise on eligibility for special education services and assist with IEP development
  • Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
