Key Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license for the state
  • Experience working with grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, adapting approaches to a variety of developmental stages
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills
  • Ability to support teachers, families, and administrators in the development of IEPs
  • Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and evidence-based interventions
  • Genuine commitment to fostering inclusive, positive school cultures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments, including cognitive, social, behavioral, and emotional evaluations
  • Deliver individual and group counseling to students as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Support crisis intervention and behavioral planning as required
  • Consult with staff and parents on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting student wellness and success
