School Psychologist | Folsom, California

Make a difference in the lives of elementary-aged students by supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth in a contract school psychologist role based near Folsom, CA. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with TK-5 students across a range of settings, including TK/K SDC classrooms, learning support environments, and moderate SDC classrooms. Your expertise will play a vital role in empowering students, collaborating with staff, and shaping positive educational outcomes.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist credential (California PPS or eligibility)
• Experience conducting assessments and writing reports for students in TK-5
• Familiarity with a range of classroom settings, particularly SDC and learning support environments
• Strong communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to identify students’ needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor interventions for academic and behavioral success
• Collaborate with special education and general education teams to support student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide guidance on services and placement decisions
• Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative support as needed

This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate between $55 and $65, depending on experience, and the chance to work with a dedicated team of education professionals.
