Qualifications and Desired Background:

• Valid credential or licensure for School Psychology (PPS Credential or equivalent)
• Experience supporting TK-5th grade students preferred
• Familiarity with assessments, IEP processes, and development of intervention plans
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and support staff
• Understanding of best practices in behavior management, learning differences, and mental health support in school settings
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload across multiple classroom types

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
• Interpret results and present findings to IEP teams and families
• Contribute to eligibility decisions and help create individualized education plans for students
• Provide consultation to teachers in support of effective classroom interventions
• Deliver direct services such as counseling, social skills groups, or behavioral support for varied student needs
• Work proactively with staff in both SDC and general education environments to ensure students’ academic and emotional needs are met
