Key Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Georgia Educator Certification in School Psychology is required
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and provide counseling services to students of varying age groups
  • Willingness and proficiency in maintaining daily service logs and accurate documentation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Must be available for full-time hours (at least 37.5 hours per week); part-time options may be considered based on availability and district needs
  • Onsite presence is required; remote/VOCO candidates cannot be considered

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral assessments
  • Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective interventions
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges
  • Participate in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate daily service logs and thorough documentation, adhering to district and state guidelines
  • Contribute to creating positive, supportive school environments through consultation and training
