Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current School Psychologist certification and state licensure (required)
- Experience working across elementary, middle, and high school settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in psychological assessment, individual and group counseling, and behavioral intervention
- Proficient in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and educational best practices
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, administrators, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs, strengths, and areas for growth
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior management plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and well-being
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary and eligibility meetings to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with education laws and district procedures
